So be it...

One thing I love about Holy Spirit is how he can take something I've heard a thousand times and never given a second thought to and totally burst it open with fresh revelation.

For instance, the other day I was thinking about the word "Amen". Most of us probably know that it's a transliteration from Hebrew which literally means "so be it". I've always thought about that in a rather passive sense, as in "so let it be written, so let it be done", you know?

Then Holy Spirit says it to me like this: "So... BE it."

I had never thought about it that way before! In Christ we can do all things, he's given us everything we need for life and godliness, right? He blesses us to be a blessing, all the promises of God in him are yes and AMEN Think about it now: All the promises of God in Him are yes and so... BE it. God is asking us to actually live like Jesus on the earth, to BE those things we are praying for to ourselves and to the world around us. I dare you to read the word now and replace "amen" with this revelation. Just see how it works every time and how excited you begin to get as faith begins to rise strong in you!
