I read a children's book once called something like "The Meanest Thing in the World". It was about these kids who were having contests being bullies and saying really mean things to each other or something like that. The thing I remember about it was how the main character won the contest. Every time someone would say something mean to him, he would say, "So?" Then, they'd say something even worse and threaten him, and he would shrug and say, "So?" It got them so mad that they couldn't rile him up that they stopped and he won.
The Bible says, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so." (Ps.107:2) We can do the same thing as that little boy, and more...
In the face of temptation I say, "so?" and overcome with the spoken Word, just like Jesus. In the face of sickness and disease, I say "so?" and overcome with the sent Word, just like Jesus. In the face of demons, I say "so?" and cast them out with the authority of the Name that is above every name! In the face of distressing and worrisome circumstances, I say "so?" and persevere, standing on the Truth that my God will never leave me nor forsake me. If they hurt me, God will heal me, if they kill me, God will raise me.
I am unsickable, unslayable, unsinable, unstoppable in Him. Hallelujah! All my sins were laid on him so I can live sin-free, all my sicknesses were laid upon him so I can live disease-free, all my lack was taken by him and he's given me his overabundance! Thank you, Jesus! I wish there was a widget were I could get you to feel the overwhelming joy that's coursing through me right now when I think about the fact that nothing is impossible through him and that he's made me more than a conquerer. Why so joyful?! How can I be anything but when I live such a live in him!
Rejoice with me! Let the redeemed of the Lord say SO! Watch this awesome song here, or go to YouTube by clicking on the smiley face.
